What will Children’s Ministry look like during the conference?
This ministry serves children ages 1-12 years. During the conference, your child will be cared for by hired staff. These staff members have passed extensive federal background checks, are CPR certified, and professionally trained to ensure your child’s safety. Your child will engage in worship, join in interactive Bible lessons, create crafts, enjoy snacks, and participate in recreational activities. The Revival Conference is not only for adults, but for children, too!
Please list any allergies or special instructions our staff needs to know when registering your child (i.e., food allergies, feeding instructions and times, Vietnamese speaking only, potty training). Pre-label all of your child’s belongings (i.e., milk bottles, sippy cups, diaper bags, car seat) and bring an extra pair of clothes. As a courtesy, please put Pull-Ups on your child if he/she is potty-training.
Why do I need to list who is authorized to drop off and pick up my child during registration?
As a safety measure, Children’s Ministry staff will only allow those authorized on your list to drop-off and pick-up your child. Four adults may be listed, including parents, and no one under the age of 18 years old is allowed to be placed on the list. To ensure the safety of your children, a photo ID must be presented at the time of each check-in and pick-up.
How do I check in my children during operating hours?
A designated area will be assigned for Children’s Ministry check-in. Only those you listed during registration will be allowed to drop-off and pick-up your child. Identification of the person listed is required in order for your child to be released into our care. Check-in begins 30 minutes before each session. Please arrive early and be patient during this process. Your child will be assigned a badge/ID number. Please keep this number with you at all times.
What do I need to do if my child is an infant (12 months & under)?
A comfortable room specifically designed for parents with infants is available in the sanctuary foyer (please see map). Parents can watch the service live via a widescreen television while caring for their child.
How will I be contacted if my child needs my care?
Your child’s assigned badge/ID number will be displayed on the projection screen. Once that happens, please report to the check-in area to meet your child.
Please complete the Emergency Medical Liability Release Form for each child prior to your arrival. We will collect it at check-in.
Will my child be allowed to sit with me in service?
We highly encourage all children (ages 1-12) to register and attend Children’s Ministry. The program available will be taught at an age appropriate level so that your child can also benefit from the conference.
Will Children’s Ministry services be provided for special needs children?
